Spicy Tafi Fish

We will be Preparing Spicy Tafi Fish Today.
Tafi fish pinit

Very many years ago on my first attempt to fry my own fish, let me say that, that did not go so well, the entire fish got stuck on the pan, i was literally scrapping the fillets off the pan. Did i say that, i was also making dinner for someone only for the meal to turn out botched. I took the lesson kindly and ever since i made it my personal mission to learn how to fry fish properly, of course the first few attempts after that did not go well, but i kept learning and unlearning, years later, i think i can cook fish, and any fish with my eyes closed. This tafi fish is delicious, and i like it because its bones are big enough for you to pull them out. Its a sea fish which makes its taste overly exciting because its naturally salted. I love using a combination of garlic , lemon and ginger as my base for any fish marinade recipe. Fish is not so hard to prepare, just ensure the oil is hot enough.. I usually like rubbing the fish with salt and lemon juice as a start to my marination process.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Wash and clean the fish, pat dry, and make slits on the fish where you will gently rub in the marinade ingredients. Thereafter marinate for 40  minutes in the refrigerator, then fry in hot oil drain on a paper towel, and place the fish on a pan that you can use in the oven. Pour the marinade juices on the fish together with barbecue sauce, some tomatoes, and onions, then I baked in the oven for another 10  minutes until the tomatoes were all cooked and mashed then spread them on top of the fish. Your fish is now ready you can serve it with any accompaniment from rice, ugali, fries, and good vegetables or salads.

Note

My fish tip ensure the frying oil is very hot otherwise your fish will stick on the base of your frying pan.
Once the fish comes from hot oil, drizzle lemon juice on it, this locks up all your fish flavors making it tastier.
