Dear fellow foodie, do you ever look at your waffle pan and ask yourself why it is collecting all that dust as it sits pretty on your cupboard waiting for the next time you will remember to make actual waffles, yet it could put it into good use without making a whole mess in the kitchen through making waffles..I thought about this several times and hence my call to make this recipe. Every Sunday I try to make unique things for my family as it’s the only day that I have free time on my hands to create fancy meals for them, it’s the day I bring out my chefing mojo. I was going for a regular French toasted bread because it’s been a while ever since I made those and then I thought of how great that would be if I made a bread waffle instead. With very simple ingredients available in my pantry and I believe yours too, I whipped up a simple thin batter that I coated the bread with so that I could use it on the waffle machine. The results were priceless, the waffle pattern also made it interesting for the children to enjoy the bread, because my eldest is a picky bread eater, so this was just a way to lure him into eating bread, so gear up and let’s make some bread waffle and I guarantee you will love it as I did.
