Having mastered the art of frying fish, i thought why not explore other ways of preparing fish like grilling maybe. The thought of grilled fish made me want to satisfy my curiosity. At first i was afraid that it wouldnt turn out crunchy like how a fried one would, but to my surprise no one could actually tell that it was not fried but grilled.
For this recipe, i used a cooked marinade, which would ordinarily act as the sauce, its a very simple sauce to make you just need to have a blender at hand, blend your ingredients, and cook your sauce, apply this sauce to your raw fish marinate for 40 -50 minutes then grill. Easy peasy right….
Ingredients
Instructions
Ugali, rice, fries, potatoes, some good vegetables or kachumbari salad.
Notes
Drizzling oil on top makes the fish look as if it got fried. The grilling makes the fish moist, and flaky. A healthy option too. For grilling i usually put a foil on the oven pan, then place the grill on top of it and then place the fish on top.
