Tzatziki sauce

If  you love gyros, then definately you have met this sauce. This is a sauce or condiment of the greek origin, its very perfect for gyros, sandwiches or fish dishes. I used this to accompany a meal that included fish fingers and thought of how nice it would be  to have this tart sauce on the side. The tart from the lemon juice and the freshness from the herbs are a good combination to bring this sauce to life. The beauty about making your own sauces is that you can customise them to your liking in terms of flavoring and spicing and you can control what goes in them. The name should not scare you either as it may sound complex but very easy to make so get ready to make some tzatziki.

Dill herbs are available at chandarana, corner shop , zuchinni, ngara market, basically any market that has a good stock of groceries you will find dill. Alternatively you can use basil or dry herbs, but authentic tzatziki sauce uses dill herbs
